Production Support Positions
Administration Management
Managers who oversee departments such as accounting and human resources need management experience and/or degrees in those areas.

Production Support Management
For management positions in departments like purchasing and quality assurance, experience and/or degrees in those areas are required, with a preference for aerospace experience.

Production Management/Supervision

Aerospace or composite management experience is required for a production management position, and a degree in an applicable subject is highly desired.
Manufacturing Engineer
Develops and oversees manufacturing planning and production, and MRP Systems Bills of Materials based on specifications with Lean Manufacturing techniques. Requires BS in Engineering (non-civil), or AA with 2 years of experience in an aerospace manufacturer’s Engineering Department.

Industrial Engineer

Coordinates quality activities, including the reporting and correction of production/system processes, while supervising QA Inspectors. Requires an AA degree with an emphasis in science/engineering or related courses and 4 years of experience in a QA; or a BS in Engineering (non-civil) and 2 years of experience in a QA; or a High School Diploma and eight years of experience in a QA. QA experience must have utilized Quality Management System concepts, such as AS9100, ISO9001, D1-9000, MIL-Q-9858.

Accountant
This position is slated to be staffed in the near future as we continue to grow.  It will require a degree in accounting and/or equivalent experience.

Production Positions
Students & Graduates
All productions positions require excellent attendance, stable work history, good eye/hand coordination, ability to follow written/verbal instructions, basic math, ability to use fine measuring tools, attention to detail & quality.

Layup Tech hand places fabric materials, like pre-preg, core and Kevlar, on molds in clean room. Great job if you enjoy crafting, sculpting, sewing, or making models. This position has advanced skill levels from Layup Tech I to III.

Quality Assurance Inspector
performs in-process inspections of composite structures during lay-up, verifying that the applicable operations have been completed, and that the techs have successfully followed the instructions listed on the manufacturing plan. This position has advanced skill levels from QA Tech I to III.

Kitcutting Tech pulls raw material from freezer, executes Gerber computerized cutting programs, sorts and assembles kits within a required time, prepares them for the freezer or for use in the Lay-up rooms. This position has advanced skill levels from Kitcutting Tech I to II.

Assembly Tech
trims, drills and assembles composite parts to plan within a required time, utilizing a variety of power tools, resins and the appropriate assembly fixtures. This position has advanced skill levels from Assembly Tech I to III.

Autoclave Tech cures parts with computerized pressure. Requires mechanical ability & basic computer knowledge. This position has advanced skill levels from Autoclave Trainee to III.

Paint Prep Tech prepares composite parts for paint as required by the manufacturing plan within a required time, utilizing sandpaper by hand or by power sander, jitterbug, approved solvent, and the other hand tools and materials. This position has advanced skill levels from Paint Tech I to II.

Painter Tech paints composite parts to the manufacturing plan, within a required time and to the required thickness, utilizing a variety of paint, spray guns, mixers, measuring equipment and certain testing equipment and able to handle hazardous waste containers. Works mostly with simple primers. This position has advanced skill levels from Painter Tech I to II.

Trim Tech trims airplane parts with small power tools & use fine measuring tools. Must have ability to maintain precision and time standards. This position has advanced skill levels from Trim Tech I to III.

Other positions:
Most Tech categories also have a Lead position. Depending on the number of tech positions in a department there may also be trainer positions.
High School Students & Graduates

Students - Sorry, we don’t hire high school students. Most of our positions require extensive training, so are not suitable for part-time or seasonal work.

Graduates – Many of our production positions are perfect for entry level employment. Keep in mind that we are looking for excellent attendance, stable work history, good eye/hand coordination, ability to follow written/verbal instructions, basic math, ability to use fine measuring tools, attention to detail & quality. Students
- We keep resumes of potential college interns on file, in case we have any special projects that require college skills and are suitable for part-time or seasonal work.

Graduates – We love college graduates, especially if they have a degree in non-civil engineering. Starting out with a small company provides opportunities for exposure to a variety of job functions that are not always available in larger companies where jobs have a narrow focus.
